If I were you (long hair) I would go for a new look...short hair. About shoulder length though, not chin length. Get razored layers, you're still young...you can pull it off. Oh and if your hair isn't oily then wash your hair every other day and deep condition once a week.

If you use heat appliances make sure to use heat protectant spray/serum.Need a new hairstyle. but my hair has been highlighted. its poofy, dry, and no longer shiny. HELP.?
You could try those digital hairstyle makeover sites. You upload a good, frontal face photo of yourself, and then you can scroll through different hairstyles digitally. Sometimes they are free.

You definitely need to start with one professional consultation, at least, considering all you've got going on with your hair. It's going to need some major conditioning and treatment before you do anything new.

Consider a fake hair piece or ponytail while it's growing out. Make it your 'statement'.
I actually give some healthy hair advice on my website. If you're interested, go check it out.
you should get your hair deep conditioned like twice a week to get it soft and shiny and healthy again
