Hairstyle 2009 what to get with highlights?

I'm a male in teens with brown longish hair. However I'm getting it cut but don't know what to get. I also want to get highlights of some sort, maybe not blonde, for the summer. Any suggestions?

couldn't find anything about highlights for men.. but I think even if you make some, you should go for natural! just a slide shade lighter than your natural color!

i dont know much about boys hair and styles, but i know that the seasons in colour changes and varies quickley just like it does for girls, i would suggest getting or buying some hair magazines and looking at the styles, but you should be unique and not follow the trend as it changes, like last season for girls deep brunnette hair colour was in, and this season is warm, honey blonde, so be unique style it how you want it and how it looks best
Just decide on whether you want a fringe, and tell the hairdresser ( a decent one) to sort it. As for the highlights, they can add in warmer shades of brown, like chestnutty reddy type colours, and even some darker mahogany tones.
