ok so i don't know what to do to get the highlights to turn out the right color, (i have black hair) i dont want it to be all faded and blended into my hair, i really want it to stand out, almost look like streaks really. what do i do?I have dark hair and want a very 'vibrant highlight color (rum red) can you help?

You need to bleach the pieces you want red a light blonde first, and then put the red on the blonde parts.
