If i have black hair wat would best way to make red highlights stand out really well?

should i bleach it first and then dye it red?


i am tryin to do this at home with out goin to a salon because i have little money. how do u suggest i go about doing that?If i have black hair wat would best way to make red highlights stand out really well?
You would need to strip the colour first using bleach and then dye it red (:





I would suggest getting someone that knows how to do it though because it can easily go wronge especially if you leave the bleach in to long or something as your hair will get extremely damaged and snap off..


I got my mums friend who was a hairdresser to do mine..





I also had red put it black hair and it came out pretty bright and stood out..

If you want your highlights to show, you would have to strip it first using bleach and then dying it. I would suggest going to a hair salon to do that, it would be hard to do it on your own.
