Is there any way to get my pinkish red highlight to lighten up and be more pink?

if i wash it its gonna turn orangey brown


any natural stuff that can be found at home that helps?

Tone it! It evens things out, and makes things more on the pink side.


I have had the same type of highlights. My hairdresser asked if I wanted to make it more on the red or more on the pink side. I chose red, but she said that she would've had to tone it to get it to more of a pink.





Honestly, there is nothing that you can really do as to things that stop things from turning orangey brown. Although, you can get a shampoo that doens't have harsh salts in it. I dyed my hair 3 months ago and it's still the same color. I used L'oreal Pure Exact.Is there any way to get my pinkish red highlight to lighten up and be more pink?
I am a hairdresser in Canada. RUSK makes good 'fashion colours'. So does Swartzkopf. They have a series that work well. The key is finding a hairstylist that knows what they are doing.
